This young girl lives and works in the orphanage. She is 24 years old. She sews quite well and we are hoping we can help her find a way to begin selling her creations. She also does beautiful traditional stitching. Very time consuming.

Meet Fonboo. Very smart little guy.

These siblings greet us often when we return to our lodging during the day…Carol has probably slipped them a sweet before:) Their mommy works at a produce stand at the edge of the hospital grounds. Food is sold to families who don’t cook their own and also to hospital workers.

Early morning the women prepare meals for their relatives who are patients here. There is no food service in the hospital. They also do the laundry for their relatives.
