This woman moves mountains. She is the hospital Matron and has the final word on everything around here. She is strong, tough, compassionate and has a great sense of humor. She also works to forge partnerships with doctors and donors from all over the world. She is always on the move. Sr is a native of Njinikom. She has done much to improve this hospital in the last decade.

Must finish the day’s photos with children. These primary school children carry mud bricks and apparently receive discounts on their tuition at the government school. Sounds like cheap child labor to me. Kids here work so hard.

This is a successful outreach clinic built in 2003. They have a maternity ward and birth approx 16 babes a month…see approx 40 patients in other wards.
